Quick-break switch with double interrupting friction contacts
Possible weldings are burst by the contact friction of the gilded fine silver contacts.
The switch element is located in a thennoplastic casing and therefore has protection category IP 40 (acc. to Din 40050, protection against grainy material).
Operating temperature: -30 to 80 degrees C. Max. operating temperature allowed: 120 degrees C.
Transmission of the heat to the ESTI cartridge is done by convection as well as by metallic contact of the ESTI cartridge with the base plate of the switch.
The EMT 46 is used as a signal device in temperature control.
The EMT 46 is also available with probe as well as with casing (against surcharge).
